About Sasha

As a young child, Sasha Pierce had a deep knowing that there was something wrong with the way we live on our planet. Sasha went into the arts so that she could deeply listen to her intuition and she has been blessed as an international visual artist. Sasha also chose to embark on a healing journey due to the trauma of being sensitive in a culture that is disconnected. Shamanic healing, reiki, yoga, breathing and meditation have been important modalities on Sasha’s healing path. She completed a one-year shamanic healing program and is currently enrolled in a two-year advanced apprenticeship in shamanic healing with Daniel Leonard, Medicine Circle. She completed Komyo Reiki Shoden, Komyo Reiki Chuden, Komyo Reiki Okuden and Komyo Reiki Shinpiden (Reiki Master/Teacher) with Paul Lara, Qi Belly. She also completed a 200hr Yoga Teacher Training with YuMee Chung and Nicki Poole, Octopus Garden. Sasha continues on her healing journey and feels called to help others on theirs.

Why Ritual/ Why Now? by Lana Lontos

As many of you know intuitively, our world has been going through a massive change in consciousness and awareness of self and the other. More and more people are finding themselves confronted with undealt aspects of their own psyche but also with our relationship to the planet and to our own knowing.

We are transitioning from known into the unknown. Traditionally, rituals are performed in time of transition and change. An example of that might be from adolescent to adult. This process has been described as a dissolution of the old ways and coming into a new identity.

Our workshop will focus on the healing, guiding practices that will bring us into now through embodiment and intention setting. At the height of ritual you are connected to the now. There has to be a physiological practice (not just dialogue). What rituals do is they destabilize our normal way of looking at things and open us up into another way of knowing. We hope to share these practices with you for many new moon circles to come.

We hope you can join us for this community practice period where you are encouraged to bring your most comfortable, curiosity and open self. We will be guiding you through meditation, gentle breathing practices, and journeying.

*Please note that shamanic healing is not a replacement for medical health practices or psychotherapy.
