With our white body privilege we choose to listen to those who know far more than we do about the brutality of racism, discrimination and systemic oppression. We practice dismantling the culture of white body supremacy, embodied and systemic. We practice dismantling a culture of colonialism by supporting the self-determination and well-being for indigenous people. We stand to defund police to reallocating resources, funding, and responsibility away from police and toward community-based models of safety, support, and prevention. May the ashes of racism unite us to move into the unknown and reimagine a society that values humanitarianism, compassion and respect.
