Sasha will invite you to do a slow guided conscious breathing sequence to tap into our bones to receive wisdom during this new moon. There will be time to write down messages of revelation. Sasha will also perform an energy healing for the group.
Lana will guide you through an honouring of your teachers and lead you into a meditation and mindfulness practice that takes you into the wisdom of your own knowing and your own bones.

I combine teachings from the Zen tradition, movement practices, and Gestalt therapy to support individuals into a deeper exploration of themselves and their environments. My teachings are self-compassionate and trauma informed. I take an open, honest and relational approach to therapy.
Lana Lontos is a therapist with 20 years of training in mindfulness and yoga. She is a Concordia University graduate and a Gestalt Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who has dedicated over ten years to studying how to work with trauma, anxiety, and addictions.
Since 2011 her workshop series: “Sustainable Shifts: Awareness of Moods and Habits” has been a place of continued support for clients interested in the challenges of sustainability and internal understanding.
As a young child, I had a deep knowing that there was something wrong with the way we lived on our planet. I went into the arts so that I could keep listening to my intuition and I have been blessed as a visual artist. I also chose to embark on a healing journey due to the trauma of being sensitive in a culture that is disconnected.
Shamanic healing, reiki, yoga, active conscious breathing and meditation have been important modalities on my healing path. In 2017, I completed a one-year shamanic healing program and I am currently enrolled in a two-year advanced apprenticeship in shamanic healing with Medicine Circle, Daniel Leonard. I also completed a Komyo Reiki Shoden with Qi Belly, Paul Lara, in 2016 and in 2019 I completed a 200hr Yoga Teacher Training at Octopus Garden Holistic Yoga Centre, YuMee Chung and Nicki Poole. I continue on my healing journey and I feel called to assist others on theirs.
Why RItual/ Why Now? by Lana Lontos
As many of you know intuitively, our world has been going through a massive change in consciousness and awareness of self and the other. More and more people are finding themselves confronted with undealt aspects of their own psyche but also with our relationship to planet and to our own knowing.
We are transitioning from known into the unknown. Traditionally, rituals are performed in time of transition and change. An example of that might be from adolescent to adult. This process has been described as a dissolution of the old ways and coming into a new identity.
Our workshop will focus on the healing, guiding practices that will bring us into now through embodiment and intention setting. We will also honour what it means to be in ritual together. We also hope to acknowledge all teachers which have guided us to this point now.
At the height of ritual you are connected to the now. There has to be a physiological practice (not just dialogue). What rituals do is they destabilize our normal way of looking at things and open us up into another way of knowing. We hope to share these practices with you for many new moon circles to come.
In this workshop we will honour the wisdom of the past, but we will also be guided to the wisdom and the teachings inside our own bones and knowing.
We hope you can join us for this community practice period where you are encouraged to bring your most comfortable, curiosity and open self. We will be guiding you through gentle breathing practices, meditation, restorative posture and journeying.
